Today the Obama administration's announced the first cut of its $4 billion "Race to the Top" education reform program. The finalists are Colorado, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The over all winners will be announced in April and will share the funding.
